"Yes Midbus, you are wanting to be full of strongness and abundant of stodge, are you not? When Bowser is to claim this castle like a bailiff that is happily to evict a miserable Big Brother contestant, it is you who shall be the chocolate couverture that smothers your imminent victory of smoothness!"This is for 's art jam, no less. Always wanted to draw Midbus in particular at some point but I've also let Fawful grow on me like feck. Before Bowser arrives to claim his castle back, perhaps Fawful would let Midbus have some of the massive feast he's cooked. MEATY!!!

i think this is very well done. i also congragulate you on Fawful, as his neck is not seen in most images of him.
it looks like you put a lot of work into shading.
i also think Midbus looks good, too, as the position he is in would be hard to draw.
your watercolour technique looks really good, too, as i could not find any errors or smudges. the pne lines are clean and crisp, and the actual colour choices work well in the composite.
the character's hands are in realistic positions(hoe the fingers are positioned, knuckle concalment, etc.)

Fawful's smile never gets old. I remember the scene but with Bowser and the boos. Midbus is my favorite minor or major villian.

It kinda bugs me that I haven't seen any fanart that references Fawful's great cooking, but that might be my love of food speaking...

I've beaten the game ages ago. The final battle is truly epic, but it still kinda disapointed me. I won't spoil you by saying whether I thought the moves were poor or boring or anything. I hope you'll be thrilled when you get to that stage, it really is worth it for a amazing RPG like this.

For such an epic game like this, I would do my hardest to resist the urge to look up ANYTHING on youtube, apart from a trailer or something. Damn, I shouldn't have spoiled myself by watching the final battle of New Super Mario Bros WII. I should have experienced the big suprise when I had the game. T_T

The paper for this one is a Daler-Rowney Aquafine make that was apparently introduced in stores like, last year so I dunno if it's sold in the US. Ought to take a pic of the cover one of these days.
