I have been in a art rut due to our eldest cat, Jack, who was put down on the 20th of this month. I've been....pretty broken up about it.

Jack was over 15 years old when he passed, he has lived along side me ever since I could walk. I would put him in my toy stroller and push him around. He would let me dress him up in little outfits and brush his fur. He had a fighting spirit, protecting me and comforting me whenever he could. In 2019 our dog, Bella, who was like a sister to him passed on Halloween, we were certain that he would pass right after but no. Around the start of 2020 he got really sick and that when his health started to decline....but it didn't stop him. We got five new cats, and a dog after Bella's passing, thinking each one would replace Jack once he passed. On the 20th my mom realized that he was not feeling right and knew it was time....I feel bad that I never went to see him off but I knew he was ready to go.
