Description
I went to Glacier Point to Get images of Half Done at Sunset. A storm was descending on Yosemite and I thought that just maybe there maybe some after glow if the cloud cover permitted. I was not ready for this spectacular show of light. Slowly a small orange glow at the base of Half Dome erupted into what I can only describe as Half Dome on Fire. Then the glowing Mountain receded back to its dull color in an overcast sky. Well worth the drive.Right time, Right Place made a wonderful sight.

Wonderful capture. This is one of my favorite spots in Yosemite. I've watched many a sunset from this spot. For something a little extra, it's even nicer on a evening when a full moon rises.
