A wonderful photo, Steve. I amazed that there was a horse and rider in the scene just when you needed them

Not so bad, except on a hot day, which would be about 250 days a year.

Monument Valley is part of the Navajo Nation. This park is the major source of their livelihood. As a tourist attraction they provide a wonderful lodge for overnight stays, guides to take you to parts you can't venture to on your own, and horseback tours of the valley. This horse and "rider" (one of many) are just way the Navajo make the valley a great photo site. I never tire of this place.
