Location: The Antelope Valley
This year in Southern California has been a banner year for wildflowers.
The California Poppy was at its best
I recently went out to the desert to capture this glorious site

I heard that folk were out picking the flowers, some were even digging them up

There was a news item on it on CNN, with folk being arrested. Where it took place I'm not certain, but it was the same poppy that suffered.
