Description
Well, to explain the title, ive seen so many people hate (in this case) klonoa, but why? Can someone explain me?Most sonic fans hate klonoa and some klonoa fans hate sonic, but not everyone ive seen many awesome people that like both ;w; and these people are awesome! (and they are my friends
I know klonoa fans that you want klonoa be more popular, but explain me why you hate sonic, besides i know some sonic fans say that klonoa is a ripoff, but you know that he isn't.
And you sonic fans, why you hate klonoa? explain that, if you say that is a ripoff do more research, please. If is for other reason say it i would like to know
Why there is so many hate on deviantart?, some people "kill" "recolors", that aren't actually recolors -.-U, and some like to roleplay saying that are some sonic characters dying. Those people, aren't klonoa fans, but, maybe some can be.
I also hate some things, but im not saying bad things of them. For example: I don't like PS3 but, im not bashing people that like it.
But still, why so many hate to other people? Can we be in peace? If not, can you explain o me why?

Heh, awesome. I like this drawing. It's so simple, but so effective. I'd pay to see something like this become official. Both these characters are just great.
And about the whole fandom rivalry, I didn't know that was going on. Personally, I think it's a load of bull.
Maybe that's 'cause I don't really relate to the Sonic fanbase, despite my neverending appreciation for the Blue Blur. And I do have a reason: as Super-Rainbow-Dash (awesome name, btw) pointed out, there is a considerable section of the fanbase that is just downright psychotic. But yeah, I never thought this could seriously happen, especially with all the cool crossover pics on the Klonoa Fan Club.
I don't get the whole ripoff thing, either. Yeah, they look similar. So what? Their gameplay mechanics are completely dissimilar, their characters operate differently, and the tone of the stories could not be more opposite from each other. That'd be like saying that either Star Trek or Star Wars is a ripoff of the other, simply because they both take place in space. It sounds ridiculous, doesn't it?
So, yeah. I think the whole Sonic vs. Klonoa argument is just dumb. I think they're both equally cool, and I feel no shame in claiming to do so. In fact, I feel tempted to work on a crossover. And I applaud you for both making this neat little drawing and for bringing this issue to light in such a proper manner. Keep up the good work!

I know klonoa fans that you want klonoa be more popular, but explain me why you hate sonic
Pretty much most (or at least a majority of) people hate Sonic, not just the Klonoa fanbase, actually. It's mainly to do with how the Sonic games between 2005-2008 fared, and obviously, they didn't fare too well with gamers. The gunplay in Shadow the Hedgehog, the broken glitchy gameplay and the bestality storyline in Sonic '06, and the Werehog in Sonic Unleashed. It was not until Sonic Colors that the Sonic franchise began to slowly restore faith in the gaming community again.
People hated the Sonic fanbase as well for a lot of reasons. I'd say some of it was justified, like when it comes to that nutcase Chris-chan, but really, the same shit happens in every fanbase. You have the shippers, the fanboys, the elitists, the crossover nuts, the fetishers, the rule 34'ers, the rule 63'ers, etc etc. We have those in every single fanbase, and as such, IMO, it's kind of unfair to accuse the Sonic fanbase of those things when it's happening everywhere else.
Hell, I bet that the Klonoa fanbase will likely end up being the same as well, should Klonoa ever get popular. In fact, I'd say some of it has already happened.
ive seen so many people hate (in this case) klonoa, but why?
That's new to me...then again, it isn't. I've seen the ripoff comments since well before I became a Klonoa fan twelve years ago, and well, frankly, they're stupid. In that case, I could easily say that Sonic is a ripoff of Dragonball, due to the many similarities between them. Or Mickey Mouse. Or the Flash. So on and so forth. Point is, everything in this world is a ripoff of one another. Nothing is original. You can only be unique in combining several ideas into one, and even then, it still isn't original because of those same ideas that were used before.
Case in point, my own fan version of Klonoa. He's unclothed and has a Super form of his own just like Sonic. Yeah, basing him of of Sonic was my intent with him, but I could also argue that the idea of him being unclothed could've easily just came from Felix the Cat and the Looney Tunes. And the Super form concept obviously predates Sonic by several years.
Yet, I'd still call him unique because of the things Namco and I did to him. I'll sum it up in one sentence: Who honestly has seen a sword-wielding, unclothed, floppy-eared cat who could transform into a demigod of pure white light that boasts great power from within?
It's unique combinations, even though they are far from original (again, nothing is) like that that appeal to people, and ultimately can help a franchise like Klonoa's grow, not deter it like some people claim. People of which I've personally known in the past, btw.
Same goes to crossovers as well. A Sonic & Klonoa crossover (if not the upcoming Smash Bros. U that's being developed by Namco as we speak) is a surefire way to get Klonoa popular, and some may like it even more if Klonoa adopts some ideas from Sonic within the same game (that's, again, being unclothed and having a Super form) and carry them into his own franchise, thereby securing those who were introduced to Klonoa from that crossover as followers of it. New fans who will follow Klonoa, rather.
So, ahem...the Sonic fans who say Klonoa is a ripoff of Sonic are most likely fanboys/elitists, people who have a superiority complex, who have no idea how the world works, and who see Sonic as the greatest thing since Jesus Christ and that anything else is outright inferior to them. Such people won't budge no matter what you say to them, and as such, should be ignored.
'nuff said.

Woah, this is a long comment
And i know not only some klonoa fans hate sonic, but these people go a little bit far, and like i said "kill" sonic characters. One time they try to kill one old character of mine... those people are little bit cracy(i think), i mean, kill something that you don't like but other people like.
Well, i know some sonic games are bad but, people are always saying that the games are bad, bad, bad. But maybe some people like them, but well... some people don't like others opinion...
I agree with that.
And i would not like so much that the klonoa fanbase, would end like that :s because, some poeple are a little bit cracy :/

I never thinked about that, but you are right.
You sayed so many things, but, i agree in all that you said
(Well i wanted to say that i love your concept of super klonoa, and i read almost all of them :3 )
