I like the pose the most.. the way he's shooting, and the colours! Beautiful, just beautiful

The pain is excruciating, but he catches you before you fall, gently lowering you to the ground.
"...I'm sorry..." The way he saysΒ it emptily, heart hardened by years in hell, but as he takes off his mask, the sun turning his hair to flame, the shine in his eyes tells he means it.
"It's okay..." You smile despite yourself, murmuring quietly. In the usually unbearable heat of the zones you once called home, you feel cold. You findΒ theΒ strength, quietly whispering your final wish, something you've wanted since you met the man who held you.
"Poison...?"
"Yeah, kiddo?"
"...Sing to me?"
He swallows hard, but after a moment, he opens his mouth, voice soft, almost inaudible.
"...So long to all my friends...Everyone of them...met tragic ends. With ever passing day, I'd be lying if I didn't say..." His voice cracked. "That I miss them all tonight..."
You can't see his hazel eyes anymore, his body just a blurry sun enveloped outline with a damned angel's voice.
"...If I could be with you tonight, I would sing you to sleep..."
He cuts off, and you feel a faint brush of sand rough fingertips against your cheek. Your breath is shallow, and barley catch the last thing he says as your eyes flutter shut.
"I'll never let them takeΒ your light...Sleep well, kiddo."
