Description
This is the world's (or, at least, North America's) largest underground cenote. (well, cenote - duh underground, lol) 180 feet deep, I believe. Enough that the first diver who ever went below burst his eardrums - but what he found outweighed the price. Mayans had sent gold down to the bottom, as gifts to their gods.As you can see, you could go swimming in it. I wasn't daring enough. I hate deep water, and that's a little TOO deep. Plus, there were enormous black fishes in there. *shudder*
This is the last one for the night, I promise! My chili's done...so I'm gone to eat XD

chili is yummy. i want chili now. grrrrrrrrr u made me hungry. i really ike the picture and assuming a cenote is sum pit full of water underground. u never actually said what it was and i admit that i have absolutly no clue but based on the pic and ur story (if it is called a story yet it is quite storyish) i think i got it all figured out. hahahaha.

Cenote = underground freshwater hole thing. This one is like 80 feet down, and then 180 feet deep. Really really deep.

it did - it was all fresh and earthy...the walk down to there was long though. eighty-something steps to the bottom, I think. I almost fell down them...twice...XD
