Oh this looks lovely. I see you tried to make an alien language, which is interesting. But more than that I love the lighting here. Make me feel like they are in some kind of cellar, where only lanterns light the room. I also like that the scales on their tails. Although, I would have preferred if their tails looked similar, since the rest of their bodies look similar in design. As well as I got confused when I looked at the dragoness, I though she was looking at the viewer. But upon the closer inspection, I realized she was actually looking at the other anthro dragon. I guess it's either my eyes can't see anything well, or her iris is a bit too small or hardly noticeable. But regardless, I love the cobblestone design here. It feels deeply like it's Medieval or Tudor epoch cellar.
As for the story... you know, this kinda reminds me off Dinotopia. It was a TV mini series where humans and dinosaurs lived together in Medieval utopian society. The dinosaurs were intelligent creatures and had sort off like Steam Punk technology and other futuristic stuff. I would imagine something like it or some kind of Steampunk alternative history with... anthro scalies and such in European continent, where anthropomorphic beings live in brittle peace with humans, after they were forced to work together after some sort of catastrophe that nearly brought down their civilizations.

I'm giving it a try Already have a handful of sketches. But getting myself to draw is problematic. In my spare time I either feel too lazy (lol) or there are more important things to do.

Wow, impressive work with the pencil and charcoal here! I how how well you shaded with the lantern above them as the primary source of light. The gradient in the shadows are very smooth and have a balance contrast!Β You even accurately depicted the shadows on the second floor. The drawing is just all-round pleasing to look at.Β
I admire the setting here. The background tells me medieval, but the blueprint tells me early 1900's. A very cool blending of time periods. Speaking of the blueprint, that is some great detail. I don't know anything about engines, but that looks like one to me! XDΒ I also love the design of your vanirans and their clothing.Β
I'm very impressed by the rest of your gallery. I wanna see more. *Clicks Watch* Β

Your lighting skill in your traditional style is always incredible! I mean two sources of lighting to show the background clearly and the main lighting to clearly display your amazing character's and there details. I also really like how you took the time to put in some real thought to that propeller engine diagram on the drawing board for the submarine. Excellent work as always my freind :3.

That's so cool! I wish you would write story's for your pictures cause' they always tell so much yet each one is a veiw of a different part of a larger story XD. If i was able to peice them together better i'd start writing for you lol :3. I've also noticed your scale details have gotten better i am very please to see you progress so nicely.
