I had to test my new Paint Tool Sai and thought it would be good to draw my version of Light Fury from HTTYD. Contours drawn in Sai, all the rest in Photoshop.

In my opinion, HTTYD 3 is the worst part of the whole trilogy. I don't want to dwell on all the reasons why I think so, so I will focus on one. The fact that Toothless really turns out to be the last Night Fury. Throughout series and all movies, I was hoping that a second Night Fury would finally appear, and I was deeply disappointed. I have the impression that the screenwriters wanted to make Toothless a tragic character, you know, the last of his genre, etc., etc. This is a mistake in my opinion. If "Hidden World" is truly "hidden," Dreamworks should take advantage of this and place at least one Night Fury in it, and preferably several. This way, animal lovers would not have to worry that when Toothless dies, the Night Furies will disappear forever from the world, for even if their hatchlings are fertile, they will not beget little pure-blooded Night Furies .
In my opinion, one new species of dragons, ie Deathgripper, would be enough and the introduction of the Light Fury is a mistake. However, I like some elements of Light Fury's design, so when drawing my version of Toothless mate, I decided to keep them (e.g. the shape of the eyes). Introducing the white Night Fury!
Her color, unusual for the species, is the result of a recysive gene responsible for the white color of scales. While, a sheen, similar to glitter are normal for female Night Fury. I named her Brightmoon.
