Queen of the Lion of the Earth, mother of Mufasa and Scar, wife of Ahadi. Because her uncle could not have cubs, Uru became heir to the throne. Her childhood was happy, though because of the many lessons she had to attend, as the future queen - she had little time to play. But she tried not to complain about it because she knew what responsibility she had.
After birth, she was engaged to her peer, Pendo, and although she did not like that she could not choose who to marry in the future, she did not object. Everything changed when as a young adult lioness she met Ahadi. He fascinated her from the very beginning, not only with his unusual appearance, but also with the way he was and the life he led. His freedom, pugnacity and the ability to decide who he wants to be and where to live were all that Uru had to renounce all her life. She had to get to know him better.
Although Ahadi was not initially interested in the company of a lioness much younger than himself, Uru did not give up and throughout him stay on the Pride Lands persistently clung to him. Ahadi couldn't get rid of her, so he finally decided to ignore her. But Uru kept asking him questions about his life, the places he had seen, the adventures he had lived. Ahadi decided to satisfy her curiosity so that her comes off. They started talking. And over time they found a common language.
Uru soon discovered that she couldn't imagine her life without an arrogant, defiant lion. They spent the whole days together, having a great time in their own company, despite the disapproval of the other herd members, including the immediate Uru family, who believed that it was the princess should not who should be hanging out with a loner lion, much elderly than her, with two tails. But Uru didn't listen. For the first time, she decided to oppose her family and do what she felt like doing. Like Ahadi.
Over time, they both understood that they had fallen in love. However, Uru did not know what to do, because she knew that her family would never accept this relationship. Ahadi urged her to flee together, but the princess knew that she could not leave the Pride Lands and her royal duties. She decided to confront her parents and uncle. She decided to tell them how she felt about Ahadi and that she was going to marry him. Together with her beloved, she went to this conversation, despite her bad feelings.
Of course, as expected, everything went wrong. Chuki accused Ahadi of seducing his daughter, Kifalme stated that Uru had let them down and reminded them of the Pendo engagement, and Mohatu sentenced Ahadi to exile. Uru, however, could not let her beloved leave without her. She broke free from the guards holding her and ran after the lion, running so fast that the pursuit couldn't follow her.
They hid in a baobab, where a shaman from the Pride Lands lived, old Uchawi and asked her granted marriage them. Uchawi apparently had to receive some news from the spirits of her ancestors, because she agreed without resistance. Ahadi and Uru officially became husband and wife.
After the wedding, Ahadi once again asked Uru to run away with him, but she decided to confront her family again. She decided that since she and Ahadi were married, her parents and Mohatu would have to accept it. Ahadi reluctantly agreed to go with her if Uchawi would do it too. The shaman agreed. The three of them went to the Pride Rock and Uru told everyone that they had married Ahadi and that if they wanted her to live on Pride Lands, they had to accept it.
A terrible row broke out between Mohatu, Kifalme and Chuki, and Uru, Ahadi and Uchawi, but eventually the lovers won. Uru's parents and her uncle had to accept the fact that they have a son-in-law and he is Ahadi. Similarly Pendo and his parents.
Since then, Uru and Ahadi lived together happily, in complete peace. Uru continued to learn to rule the Pride Lands, as did Ahadi, who had to prepare for the role of king. Some time later, Chuki was bitten by a scorpion during one of the Lion Guard missions and died. Uru took it badly, but she kept bravely, remembering who she is and what her duties are to the Pride Lands
When Mohatu decided that Uru was ready, he passed her throne, and she officially became the queen, and Ahadi became the king and eventually became the parents of two sons-twins. They named them Mufasa and Taka.
When the sons of Uru were teenagers, great drought reigned in the Pride Lands. Rivers and lakes were drying up, the heat was unbearable, fires broke out. The queen knew that if she did not find any solution, her subjects will die, so she went to find a waterhole, leaving the kingdom in her husband's care. For many weeks she searched and began to lose hope when on the western edge of the Pride Lands she discovered the lake, thus saving her subjects.
Shortly after this event, while walking with Taka, Uru was attacked by jackals, and then her son rescued her, using the Roar of Elders for the first time. After this event, Taka formed his own Lion Guard, replacing Kifalme and her team. After some time, Kifalme informed the family about her intention to leave the Pride Lands. Uru took it wrong, but although she asked her mother to stay, she could not change her decision.
Since then, the only support for Uru was Ahadi, her sons and Mohat, at least until his death. After her, Uru and Ahadi were alone and ruled for many years. Uru died at last, becouse, she fell from high tree she climb to put the chick into the nest, which fell out of him. She was remembered as a just, wise queen and always enjoyed the respect of her subjects.
