but porn/smut of regular onmodel or horeselike ponies is somehow a-ok

I have nothing against the "brony fandom," (no fandom is perfect, and I find them way more tolerable then most fandoms honestly) but you have a point.

While I don't like downright "porn/clop" fanart at all... (A li'l risque, or mild "sexyness" is fine, like say bikini pics) though I don't get the hate for anthro' pony pics.
Considering it seems less "creepy" to me, at least if they're somewhat humanized, anthro', or drawn as human when drawn "posing sexy in a bikini," or something.
When they're just ponies in sexy poses, and such it looks kinda odd to me.

Y'know, Equestria Daily, while a great site, is also kinda biased that way to. They rarely ever allow anthro' or humanized pony pics in their daily "drawfriend" articles. (They even included one in the last "April Fools" day drawfriend jokingly stating, "We're allowing anthro' art now!" As if to suggest anthro' art is a bad thing for the site.)
...Yet, they do allow occasional "butt/flank-shots," or "sexy poses," sometimes of regular ponies... (As long as they arn't to "dirty" or something, and they usually only provide the link to them, so you don't have to see them if you don't want to.)

Anthro' is evil, yet ponies posing with their flanks/butts to you is fine. (It's just a horse's butt. What is so "sexy" about that?) I don't get that, it's one thing I don't "get" about bronies... (Of course, not all bronies are perv's.)

Yeah the truth is a good chunk of bronies are pretty illogical and their reasoning as to why some things are okay while others aren't is completely arbitrary

I understand that some people may not like furries or anthro artwork for a myriad of reasons, but a lot of bronies seem to hate on antrho pony pics simply for the reason that it's anthro; they have never have a reason as to why when questioned. It's okay if you don't like it because it's not your thing or you don't like furry shit, but it's asinine to be okay with a picture of Applejack showing off her ass and a picture of an anthro applejack just eating an apple or something not sex-oriented at all

I think the thing is that bronies dont want to associate with other fandoms such as furries or something because they think that associating with them will make them look bad or that they desperately dont want to be called furries (even though they're far worse in terms of being fucking annoying)

either that or they're just straight up freaks who're so obsessed they cant be okay with something unless it's a pastel colored horse with a waifu personality that will accept them despite being creepy and annoying like a normal person would/should
that's obviously not speaking for everyone but i've seen those types before

bronies as a whole are stupid and I honestly detest anyone who thinks they're special enough to be a subculture that deserves a THREE HUNDERED THOUSAND DOLLAR DOCUMENTARY SOLEY TO KISS THIER ASSHOLES just because they watch a goddamn cartoon

No offense, but I think you've only encountered the "stupid" ones, and not the sane, normal ones.
Most "bronies" I've met are quite nice, and tolerable actually.

Heck I've been flamed by tons of Sonic fans (even though I am one, as well) for my Sonic parody fanart, or for liking the Sonic comics, (which some Sonic fans consider "blasphemy" because they're not the games) and such, yet I never caught crap from a brony for ANYTHING. (I did from a few anti-brony people though who got pissed I drew a few pony pics. Which was pretty funny actually.)

And as for the documentary, I'm not bothered by that honestly. It's not so much being made because of "they watch a cartoon," or "think they're so important," it's more-so because the positive "messages" they're fanbase is trying to send, and because some have actually had trouble for being fans due to misconceptions about them.
(Heck, I heard some teenage boy was kicked out of his house by his parents for being a "brony.")

They even said the documentary isn't going to be "sugar-coated," or a "love-letter" to bronies, so obviously it'll spotlight the negative, (and perhaps grosser) sides to the fanbase, as well.

I honestly try not to judge people by their fandom. If they want to be called "bronies," let them, I don't care what I'm called though honestly. lol

Bronies are only nice and tolerable to other bronies. Their actions defy logic, and are overall loud and obnoxious.

Bronies don't even NEED a documentary, unless the documentary is highlighting how a cartoon can cause people to act like complete idiots, then it's a total waste of money.

I honestly cannot stand bronies, and their existence in itself is just a way to appropriate or rationalize a way to love a cartoon way too much.

I don't know, I know some bronies, or FiM-fans that arn't that obsessed with the show, and only watch it casually, and such. They don't attack others who dislike the show, or anything either. But they've had some people attack them for liking the show unprovoked, as well.
...So if you ask me, the "fanatical brony-haters" are just as bad as the fanatical bronies they complain about. (Not saying you're fanatical in either sense, or anything.)

Still, to me saying all bronies are bad is like saying all anime fans, or all Nintendo fans are bad.
Some are just casual fans like us who like to watch it, and occationally do fanart of it, or make something creative.
From what I've seen the "idiots" in the brony fandom are just a minority, and most of 'em arn't like the bad, gross, or annoying bronies you've seen like on Ponibooru, or Ponychan.

Don't let them bother you, or fowl up your enjoyment if you like the show at all.
