You could also imagine her a giant flying pink elephant but it would still be incorrect? Same way that the comment below says she looks human i had just given my own thoughts on it.

And your thoughts do not matter it is a great art piece and its how the artist saw her. And it doesn't help that the comic depicts her as white as well.

People have different thoughts of what nut brown is. That is what her skin color is described. If you search nut in google you get fairly light colors for a nut so no. Her skin is not that off. And its not white washing based on how she is described its fairly similar.

Listen, its fine to be in denial about it. Google definition of nut-brown is "a rich dark brown color" but you can go ahead a believe whatever you'd like. As you said, its completely fine to imagine her as a pink talking elephant. Its fine! Enjoy your day.
