Description
The Friske (pronouced Free-Skah) are ice dragons that live within the derelict snow dunes of Haiascyinth. Closely related to the Cave Dwellers, Friske are for the most part a very timid race of dragons, avoiding direct contact with other creatures at all costs. They are also the only known species that possess the capability to thrive on a dietary suppliment of ice, due to a rare mineral found in the substance. Many explorers have traversed the treacherous snow dunes for a chance to catch even the slightest glimpse of the Friske. Legend says that if you are ever given the rare privilege to make eye contact with one of these magnificent creatures, your very life will be embraced with blessings far beyond your wildest dreams.Painted in PS, prints available. The colors remind me of auroras. Very nice blues, and it gives it a calm, tranquil feeling to the who Friske. Very well done!

Again with the super-high saturation 
It may very well be just me, but it kills the feelings of the painting
IMHO the mood here's more like an 80s nightclub than magical and mystical, and using such unvarying colours gives an unastounding 'fall flat' kinda impression. Using colour+black to shade instead of colour+shadows/highlights of varying (and sense-making, eg shadows of oppisite clr value to light source) values is really boring to the eye. It's fine for graphic hard-edgy design stuff, but nothing clasically emotive or illustrative.
If you're wanting to express the feeling of the description through the image, sterile-smooth digital gradients and uber-neon aren't the way to go

Since you obviously do not like the way I paint, then I would like to request that you refrain from commenting on my work from now on. I always encourage critiques, but saying things like "digital gradients and uber-neon aren't the way to go", the "80's night club" jab, and a "pleasant" handful of others I've received from you in the past only reveal your biased opinion rather than an effective critique to sincerely help me improve. This is how I work, and unfortunately for you I will not change my style for the cynical whims of those in disagreement. Thank you for your understanding.

So 'crits discouraged' if you are offended by that.
If you want it sugar coated and the constructive part made clearer - "I think if there were more values and lower saturation, it would feel icier and more nature-y and fit the description better. also some texture in the bg, even a tiny bit, would be neato".

Note that I said "I always encourage critiques", therefore that is why the "Critique Welcome" option is almost always selected on my work. I object to your so-called "critiques" because they are infact a bias opinion saturated with obvious cynicsm, and frankly I've grown very tired of it. Maybe I did not make myself more clear. Let's get something straight. Do not expect me to read any notes from you when you're not even willing to read my reply in private, especially after I made it very clear (apparently not clear enough) that I do not want to receive any more comments from you. That also includes notes, which I ignorantly assumed you would understand. Obviously you didn't. I privately attempted to be civilized with you and appologized for allowing this to get so far out of hand (even though I have nothing to appologize for), but obviously your only desire was to take another jab at me and disappear, completely ignoring my reply and initial request to stop commenting. That is a very cowardly act. You had no reason to behave like that other than to get a kick out of pestering a stranger with garbage that had absolutely nothing to do with the initial request to simply stop commenting. Heaven forbid if I ever attempt to defend myself again from certain "critics" that would rather play cynical mind games than give critiques. I suppose if any artist ever even thinks about disagreeing with a "critique" they've received, they better be prepared for an all out battle of blood because Heaven knows artists should never be allowed to dispute any critique as long as they live. And if they do dispute it, I suppose that automatically makes them an extremely arrogant "meanie" with, (Heaven forbid), a grotesquely enlarged and fragile ego the size of Mt. Everest. The moral of the story? Apparently some "critics" are just as fragile and breakable as the artists themselves.
Let me make this very clear for you. What you did is called harassment. If you send me one more comment or note, I'm reporting you to administration for harassment. Understood? Twice I asked you to refrain from commenting, yet you continued with an attempt to contact me and completely ignored my reply. It has such a wonderfully sureal feel to it. The background for the Friske is a great plus and adds to the feel of the picture too. Rather magestic indeed ^^
