You're drawn quite instantly to the glow of his eyes. The use of contrasting colours gives this painting an especial pop.

I think you have excellent use of unusual color for a tiger painting. The angular chin makes it stand out to me as well.

gad it looks sooo lovely in person! my mom was all excited about it and my dad loves it as well. the contrasting deep reds against the lighter yellows and bright blue almost make it glow in low lighting. I really love the brush strokes in it, the heavy paint and the areas where it looks like paint was lifted off to reveal other colors below the top surface of strokes. It creates this very pleasing multidimensional look. I have it on my fireplace mantle in front of one of my older paintings for now. Definately happy I got it!
