I can't believe I forgot to submit the original ballpoint pen version of this design. *Slams head on tablet* Anyhow originally this was meant to be a tattoo design for a client, but they ended up wanting something more detailed instead. Go figure.
FYI, this was my very first design of the Thokloks.
Drawn in 100% ballpoint pen. Prints available.

I like it, but it seems a little too complex to be a tattoo to me. But then again I wouldn't know much about them. I guess there are just too many varying shades of black, but if tattooing is anything like painting, it'll work.

that's already too detailed for a tattoo. There is only so much a tattoo artist can do...and even if the tattoo artist CAN make it look like that at first, within about a year it will have all smudged together and won't look that nice anyways (that's just how human skin is)

your clients still want more details?!?!? i am not very into tattoos or so but, when i look at this, i wonder if there's anyone out there who can really tattoo this onto anyway on a human skin! its an arresting design i must say!
