Just like the title says.. It's a random drawing of a dragon. Mostly because I just wanted to see if I was still capable of doing a pencil drawing, since I've been concentrating on computer art so much lately. *laughs*Related content

I was going to say it would look really interesting coloured, but then read the artists comments! I love the proportions, the mouth looks like a snout or a muzzle from a dog (to me), what do you think?

this is a very smart design, i gotta love the detail, the dragon looks like a dog to me tho, WHICH is why i like a lot, its different among others.

Really good. Really random.
I love the spiky mane, the mouth (and tongue) and the small horns. The eyes hidden below the massive eyeridges are very expressive nonetheless, an effect which I beleive is not easy to obtain.
As you've encouraged critique, there are two things I see.
First, the larger horns merge too much into the mane. I beleive it would look better if they'd stand out more or even without them. Maybe it would help to make them less detailed, but with distinct shading, as you've done the small ones. I also ponder if it may be because of scanner.
Second, the saliva dripping from its lower jaw looks too thick, almost like some kind of plant hanging there. Maybe it would help to make it more transparent.

I love dragons, and this one is one of the best i have seen scetcht (bad english grammar). I love the slime, if that is what it is, in the wide open mouth. The scales and the whole impresion that stuck in me. This is a nice pice of work

... graphite is good for the soul... there's something therapeutic about brushing back eraser dust that you just don't get with a digital medium...

That's just sooooo wrong. I'm gonna have nightmares about this thing for a week... eating babies, and slaughtering the elderly. As for the piece itself, the work is wonderful. The detail is very nice and the shading is well done as well. Overall this is a really good image. I like it alot.
