So, now we got Flame War. According to small write up about her, she's supposed to be all obsessed with Arcee, so I thought I'd take it to an extreme here, like she's so obsessed, she's grinded and carved her own face to look more like Arcee. Little cuts in her arm for each time she's encountered Arcee and she's gotten away. Kind of like a "Single White Female" version with the two of them.Hope you like.

Sounds okay, but I don't see why one would make themselves look more like their enemy. It doesn't make much sense. Maybe Flamewar has some sort of old score to settle?

One thing I love about this character is how willing people are to drop the usual taboos with female characters with her. It varies from continuity to continuity how people do it, but it always seems to happen.
Your piece is really interesting because you're injecting a lot of femininity back in via the way you've framed her attitude with Arcee, but without that backstory it looks like you're taking it away via the scars and such.
Gender's a performance, ladies and gentlemen.

I wouldn't read too much into it. The easiest thing to say is "I just wanted to draw a femmebot with a giant-ass flame thrower." But I thought I'd go a little more in-depth here.
With the others, like Tailgate or Fallback, there was enough differences in the Cyberverse toys that I could make them look visually distinct enough to not just be a redeco of the more well-known person. But even at a smaller size scale, Flame War looks a LOT like Arcee. I didn't want to go with the "clone" or the "Same body-type" because that's too easy. So I gave thought to why she'd want to look like her so much. Perhaps in the beginning, she looked a lot differently. Maybe with completely different body-type, but she's been subjecting herself to body-modifications over the centuries in an effort to look more and more like her. Perhaps the obsession extends beyond the physical, and even to the psychological to where in her head, she even calls herself "Arcee". But why? Maybe even she doesn't know why herself. And that's the one I went with. She's obsessed and she doesn't even know why. She's hoping that the more she encounters Arcee, the more she can figure this mess out.
That and the flamethrower.
