Lovely monster you have here! I think you should start using color/transparent gradients in your colors now. Then again, this was a cover, which usually requires more detail.

I actually have. Most of the comic pages I've done are dated back a bit. Current pages have more gradations to them, while still keeping to the cel shaded style I want for the book.

Doesn't seem to bothered by the blood he's dribbling there or his cracked skull. Nice and creepy, excellent colors. Sometimes art is good enough I no longer really know what to say. Excellent monster you got there.
