This is a re-render of this image. . It was done on the upgraded Modo 801. Then color corrected in Photoshop. I might make it 3d printable some time in the future.Related content

i've heard of 3D printing, but never saw details like this about it. can it be done in only one color?

For a printer like this you need more then one printer head, or what is called an extruder. Higherend printers. The kind that cost a whole lot more like Mcor can do many colors. It is just a matter of money then anything technical.
