A photomanipulation of ~britaniefaith-stock 's "upclose" found here . Many thanks to her for the use of her photography.This is a fanart piece based on the PC games Deus Ex and Deus Ex 2: Invisible War, a cyberpunk sci-fi series that I enjoyed quite a bit. I like how this piece came out, though the mech-chip-thingy at the top-right was difficult to make look realistic.

Oddly enough, luminescent blues and purples tend to ring more "cyberpunky" to me than greens. Go figure.

Nowadays, these kind of colors tend to be more "cyberpunky" than green and stuff.
Maybe because the greens have been overused, and the blues and purples are kinda... complementary... or contradicitve to greens...
(btw: In Gene Roddenberrys "Earth, Final Conflict" they used that ind of colors a lot, too)
But anyway, this "ringing" is more about feeling...
And I feel so, too.
I always had a weakness for pale blues and stuff, so purple is not too far away from that,
I for my part think of light purples and of blues as modern, "techy" colors, too.
So... All i wanna point out is: We are on the same sheet of paper in that

Well, it isn't me in the photo, as mentioned in the description. And as for what is written in the eye: essentially nothing. Some numbers, random characters and gibberish, just to imply a visual readout projected on the iris. Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked it.
