LOL! Well, in Photoshop there is a filter you can run your image through called Stained Glass. The scaly skin on the chameleon looks like what the filter does to an image that is run through it.
The filter doesn't really make your image look like stained glass at all. It makes it look like colorful cells of a honeycomb.

I wonder if their color-change mechanism is similar to that of squid and cuttlefish.
