That's incredible. Can I ask what lens you had on your 400D? I'm looking at going 400/450D but need a good lens for macro shots - I can't get close to this with my current camera. Again though, kudos on the shot

i use 2..Canon 60mm macro lens that shots up to 1:1 life size..thats probely what you want.100mm or 60mm..both give you 1:1 at full zoom
Other one i use is canons MPE-65 which is very hard to use.60mm or 100mm would be perfect for you.
