It can be said that Komárno station have beaten my expectations. I was expecting to find it completely empty, but there was single Class 742 parked here, not a single freight wagon however. The photo is good example of once busy place turning into empty set of tracks with rather occasional activity. Komárno station also used to have active locomotive depot. In addition to Komárno station there is also a freight station located not far from here, but few sets of wagons standing there seems to not have been moved in a while.

Komárno is home to the river port and once a very busy shipyard that used to built freight ships that sail the seas around the World. However former glory of the shipyard is long gone.
