Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia 13.08.2023Heritage train hauled by two Class E499.0 locomotives going from Olomouc in Czech Republic to Poprad in Slovakia. Both locomotives have attended meeting of Class E499.0 locomotives in Olomouc, where in total 9 of these beautiful machines could be seen, some of which are still in regular service , used to haul freight trains. Introduction of Class E499.0 back in 1950s have marked beginning of widespread electrification of railways in Czechoslovakia.
