Class 740 locomotive with hopper wagons loaded with gravel is seen parked in the Liptovský Hrádok train station. It should be used in the next week during maintenance of the local railways.

Locomotive now belongs to the private rail company but just like every other Class 740 (previously Class T448.0) it was originally used in industry. Colors of the locomotive make it easy to guess who the previous owner was. It is painted in livery of the Slovnaft oil refinery and it was previously used in the Horný Hričov fuel storage facility .

This photo , shows us the the time when it was still used as rail spur locomotive by the Slovnaft. As it is typical for most of the rail spur locomotives used in Slovak industry, it carried the old number plates even decades later after renumbering that occurred back in year 1988.
