I'm sure that every transportation enthusiast will appreciate Bratislava, either its railway network, tram lines or the local jewel, the port on the Danube river. Many decades since its opening, the port of Bratislava remains a busy place. One of the items passing through here is iron ore, seen on the large piles on the photo. It arrives here by trains before being loaded onto ships. City of Bratislava is changing rapidly, hence all the high rise buildings in the background, but so far the port remains mostly unchanged, despite all the pressure from the developers.
