sadly, I didn't, my parents never bought me a GBC Β Well I did play it some times, with my cousins or friends but never beat the game myself. I did play Yellow on the Virtual Console though

I was gonna ask whether you could explain why's chansey's so weak?
I cought two (7 & 21), but for each level, the attack is so low.

I think Chansey (Blissey in newer generations) is used more as a deffensive PokΓ©mon. It has super high HP and Special (attack/defense) but it's super weak with both physical attack and defense. The trick is raise it to a high level, have it learn Soft-Boiled to keep recovering health and even though it cannot inflict too much damage, it will resist even one of the most powerful moves, Blizzard, due to it's high Special stat. It still is vulnerable to physical attacks but it will resist a lot thanks to the HP and Soft-Boiled. If it learns Ice Beam it can deal with some tougher PokΓ©mon like Rhydon and Thunder Wave and Counter can help to build a strategy as well. I've never been into competitive game but that's a little bit of what I learned with my classmates from college

Well that's a shame, considering I also raised both Wigglytuff and Clefable, both are stronger than Chansey.
So I've been using Chansey to replace potions
