Eventually my lifelong Pokemon addiction was going to find its way into SlumberTown somehow... have the trio as a bunch of 10 year old trainers in a Pokemon AU. Boone is a very offensive trainer, Echo's style is fairly strategic - both are competitive, and they've been rivals since they were little kids! Romy doesn't like to battle because she feels bad when pokemon get hurt, so she just travels with the two and befriends pokemon as companions.

The pokemon do, indeed, have names. Romy's sobble's name is Raindrop. The grookey is Bartholomew. Boone has a female scorbunny named Sir Carrots.
