Bottom: This was a fun little experiment. I have noticed I usually have Mary all exagorated and silly, and wanted to draw her in a more calm state and have her doing normal things like brushing her hair and sorting her cape and necklace. I adore how the cape one turned out, and the necklace one looks like she's actually thinking about something. Mary is actually really pretty when she's not being crazy.

Top: Maddy needs to have a bit of an adjustment to be a little more appealing and femanine looking without pushing it too far. She is a tom boy really, and hates brushing her hair. Like all girls though she struggles with her figure and getting clothes that fit her. (totally relatable for us short curvy girls...) Then I drew her stirring a cup of tea and dreaming.
