I had a lot to work through this week, not only in a practical sense but a few inner demons had to be excercised. You may have noticed other than the commissions I have been posting, I have refrained from posting anything fan art related. I am not stopping doing fan art altogether, i simply want to be known for my own original stuff, not for fan art. I hope this makes sense.Anyway, a picture of Maddy and Mary walking together along the coast somewhere seemed like a fitting thing to draw during a time of reflection.

I like your OCs new design of her having horse legs because you said she was a dunie which you said on YouTube is a small Scottish fairy that can change into a small horse, my oc avatar is a shapeshifting Draconequus that was once a human being, I have a fanfiction I’m still working on on my DeviantArt account and writing a story about this pony oc that I made up that gets abandoned by her real parents but taken in by the alpha female wolf which I call Grey Wolf and she calls the foal pony Connor which means wolf and Connor grows up to become a wolf pony which is the werewolves of Equestria and since werewolves are usaully humans trapped in a wolf’s body and no humans live in Equestria I decided to make werewolf ponies where the ponies become werewolves. My oc avatar Adean the Draconequus is also a werewolf as well as a pony more then any other animal but can become any other animal.
By the way I love your oc avatar’s Maddy’s unlikely relationship with Mary Sue.

This is a beautiful picture. I think going original is a very good thing for artists. Personally I have most of my deviations as original work. The exception is a little bit of fan art and a little bit of music theory. I think of fan art as something good for a beginner. It is easier to do because it requires creativity. However doing it too much can turn into a crutch. It is like using bases, recolors and pony generator. I have collected a lot of your fan art in my favorites. I even have a Mad Munchkin folder. I like your rendering style, especially magic effects. I also like your OCs, Maddy and Mary Sue. You show so much potential as an artist. It is great that you are expanding into stuff that is more original. I have noticed you have been doing real life animals. This is great. I study animals a lot. I especially get into the anatomy and classification. It is very helpful for designing and drawing animal and creature characters. One example is that Maddy's pony form is based on two real life Scottish horses, Clydedale horse and Shetland pony. Good luck with the new venture. Stay creative.

I really like the evolution of these 2 from a Ponysona and a one off joke to fully fledged characters. I have been following you for a while and seeing these 2 change has been a really wild ride. I'm really impressed by your characterization and art skills.
