Prometheus (Name unknown), my no.1 most favorite comic book villain of all time. (My second favorite is the Scarecrow (Jonathan Crane) and third is the Mad Hatter (Jervis Tetch).)

What makes Prometheus so cool? Hell, his costume is fantastic!!! And his skills and abilities are darn cool!!! And guess what he did, he almost defeated the JLA (Justice League America) single-handedly!!! (He even claimed that he can defeat every single superhero on the planet!)

Here's what he did, starting from first to last:

1. He entered the JLA Watchtower disguised as a superhero (whom he killed) along with the media who were visiting.

2. He took control of Steel's (John Henry Irons) armor with a virus and commanded it to do some serious damage. (Though Plastic man (Eel O' Brian) prevented Steel from doing any until Steel was able to purge the virus.)

3. He left Martian Manhunter (J'onn J'onzz) in a puddle of goo with a combination of a phosphorus dart and molecular toxin. (He also planned to do the same to Plastic man.)

4. He downloaded blueprints of the Watchtower into his mind and did serious damage to it, endangering the people in it.

5. He teleported the Angel Zauriel into his base in the Ghost Zone with his Cosmic Key to prevent interference from the Angel.

6. He hypnotized Huntress (Helena Bertinelli) with his helmet lights to stop her from moving before he knocked her out.

7. He downloaded the skills of 30 of the world's greatest martial artist (including Batman) into his brain and then beat Batman (Bruce Wayne) into a pulp.

8. He used what he called "Neural Chaff" to affect Green Lantern's (Kyle Rayner) brain electricity that causes GL's to lose concentration which causes his will-powered ring to stop working, then Prometheus shot GL.

9. He tricked Flash (Wally West) into thinking that Prometheus had planted motion-detecting bombs that will explode if the Flash moves above normal speed, preventing Flash from using his speed. Then, Prometheus shot Flash.

10. He claimed that he could resist Wonder Woman's (Hippolyta) Lasso of Truth until his mind is in ruins.

11. He threatened Superman (Kal El) that if Superman does not kill himself, he would not get the people off the burning Watchtower.

12. He was defeated in the end due to an unexpected intervention of anti-hero Catwoman (Selina Kyle, who entered the Watchtower disguised as a reporter in order to steal things.), though Prometheus escaped into the Ghost Zone using the Cosmic Key. (He also bailed Zauriel out.)

I just love this guy so much, I even took his ideas and concept to create anti-hero/hero Enoch A.K.A Prometheus [link] , the mad knight.
