No, Toph, you were not, you lucky devil! If only all the main characters hadn't been introduced till the second season.These are just nitpicky things really, the real issue with the Airbender movie is that it's so bad IT PUNCHES YOU IN THE SOUL.
I wonder if Shamwow has ever had a conversation with another human being before. You wouldn't know from the way the dialog reads. I wish he had. Maybe that human could have told him not to make this movie. T_T Alas, the ENTIRE film is talking, talking, talking, explaining every last thing, thus deftly avoiding the need to SHOW US ANYTHING!!

Other characters fortunate enough to not be in the movie: Jet, Suki, Avatar Roku, the Ocean Spirit, Koh... well, all of the characters really, cuz, I don't know who those people were in the movie, but it wasn't them...

Also, was it just me, or did everybody in the movie sound like they were on the verge of sobbing every time they spoke?
Well, I'm certainly sobbing!!!

Hahahaha! It's fanarts like these which make me glad I have not seen the film! I watched 2 seconds of Peltz and Rathbone's renditions of Sokka and Katara and I was like: Oh God. If I can't handle a few minutes of this, how am I going to handle a whole hour?!

I love the recasting you did for The Last Airbender I would totally go see that if those characters were in it. I love the fact that Dev was changed to sokka now that I think of it he'd be a better Sokka.

From what i hear, Toph -does- appear in the movie, after the credits...and shes deaf. -I- personally didnt see it, but thats what I was told. Love this piece though

I've seen a pic or two of Toph complaining, but I think she has the right attitude here.
Anyway, haven't seen the film yet, but from what I've heard it fulfills me less optimistic expectations nicely. Hilarious take here with Toph's line.

I'm being pred, but why indians for most of the fire nation? :/ they don't even look like the characters. but the only person i like so far in the movie is Zuko's uncle.

I liked Eeroh, too. I mean, he was no IROH, but he was still good. I liked his pressuring Zuko to acknowledge the pretty girls. That was very much like Iroh from the play. ("Let's forget about the avatar and go get massages!") I also liked him in the Agni Kai flashback. His reaction there was great, very much that of a horrified father figure. I prefer it to the cartoon, actually. Never really liked how Iroh just turned away, all stoic like. That was the time to get upset, man!

Zuko doesn't have a ponytail in the movie, he's not supposed to grow hair until the last season or so. If Toph's not in there(thank goodness) then at least let him have a ponytail!!

they didn't even say names properly, it's a freaking tv show how can you not say the name properly?!
I have to completely agree with you they sounded like almost sobbing and everything was so amazingly scripted and so ovious and stupid and just gah!!!!!!! I was so pissed when Suki wasn't there since she's kinda a major character by season 3....ugh so many things about this movie made me want to cry. and it was so unepic at the ending... no giant water fish of awesomeness...just a wave...
I really wish Toph could be saved for the madness that shammy created since she's my favorite, hopefully he doesn't get to make the second movie...

Dev was decent. As a very good actor, he was able to work with awful directing.^^ The others, not so much. I would say the HP movies are light years better than this. I'd say that about the Star Wars prequels, too... I'd tell people to go see Twilight:Eclipse before seeing this. Sigh. There are people who have liked it, though, so if ya feel like takin a gamble, have at it.^^

who in there right mind let Shamalyon near a kids movie or any movie for that fact? After signs, his work just outright sucks. It would be a great day when someone finally makes a true avatar movie that at least follows some part of the actual show. I mean, did he even watch the show? oh no he watched the show his daughter went as Katara for halloween and got the family into it
