Is that MouseTrap? Looks like it, what with the incredibly colorful plastic Rube Goldberg machine.

It felt very strange to render a scene that would only be a picture in a scene

I don't know anything about that series, but your picture is a delicious mix of delirious and funny. I love it

Thanks Y-Phil
It's not just a series.... It's part of British culture, the Daleks have been on TV for 50 years (Dalek is even in the Oxford English Dictionary)

Christmas and birthdays, clothes, and games the whole family could play...one year dad bought my older brother a train set...I think he finally got to play with it in August of the next year, when dad finally got bored...

wonderful render. the plan looks flawless, what could go wrong?
took an art class once on master Rubes work. the final was a party
at profs house in oakland where we had to display a rubics type device
that from marble start to finish had to take exactly 60 seconds.
in my neck of the woods Rube is venerated.

Well that's the second mention of Mr Goldberg, who I knew nothing about until last night! I did wonder who came first Goldberg/Robinson... Apparently it was the Limey, very Wallace & Gromit.
(60 seconds is a long time to keep a marble rolling... Just under the force of gravity that's a hell of a distance!)

1.5 seconds off = B- Some tough professor! I wonder what Microsoft would get? 5 seconds remaining, no ...4 hours 35 minutes, no....
I'll give you an A+ for 58.5 seconds

Little known fact that Rube Goldberg was Davros' cousin. Makes so much sense now...

Ahhhh.... Rube Goldberg = Heath Robinson, I never stop learning from you (We use "Heath Robinson" in a derogatory way, as in "It's a bit Heath Robinson, isn't it?", Can I now say "It's a bit Rube Goldberg" ?)

Did you know that their creator, Terry Nation, based them on the Nazis.
