Revised version of my gift picture for . One of my friends pointed out that while the fire looked great, Dr. Finitevus wasn't "interacting" with the scene as much, so I tried adding some of the light from the fire to Fini's metal cheeks and reflecting off his glasses. Also, I tried adding some shading to his cloak as well. I liked how it came out so I decided to replace the original with this new version. The changes are best seen in full-size view.

This is a scene from my story, called "Redemption", in which Dr. Finitevus, stripped of his powers, is sent to Vietnam during the war to atone for his crimes during the Enerjak incident by and angry enchantress (Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic, issues 180-184). Here Dr. Finitevus is fleeing for his life from a napalm attack, a scene from later in the story. To regain his powers and return home, Finitevus must learn to care for another, to value another life above his own.
