Woaaaaa, I'm starting to run out of compliments and fitting words to describe your masterpieces -and let me tell you this is one of your best, without a doubt.
The other comments have very much said everything worth noting, from the perfection of their poses to the way Alex and Albert look... intimate, devoted to each other and lost in the moment. Every time you draw them you can do it so that they look both possessive and submissive to their own desire at the same time, and this is quite an important aspect of their relationship (as DamadiSangue accurately pointed out before me). Have I already told you they look like modern Eros and Psyche?

Awesome art, as always! I love the intimacy here. The forehead to forehead, the chest stroking- it's sexual but not overtly so. It denotes intimacy over sexuality (not that there's anything wrong with that either way!). Beautiful job with both characters!

Magnificent! A masterpiece!
Albert's death is annihilating for Alex. The term "Overseer", the observer, never so fitting and so heavy for her.
Alex has watched all his life, a spectator of a theater of monsters, and she loses everything - game over: I can't go on.
Alex always looks like a woman on the edge of the abyss; although on the surface she shows the determination and arrogance typical of the Weskers, under she collapses in herself - she ruins under her uncertainties, her doubts, her fears.
Alex looks the monster in the eye and is petrified.
If it is true what Albert thought about the viruses deriving from the Progenitor (that they changing the host according to his mental condition) it is clear that Alex considers herself broken, monstrous, a creature in half.
Her - their - story is very sad, because it is that of the monster that is hit to death, but when the hero takes off the mask underneath there is not the beast that he thought, but a woman.
Alex is a fragile woman who reiterates in her error - like Albert - but at the same time she is condemned to be like that. She fights, but not enough to save him. She loves, but not enough to hold him back. She studies, but not enough to deceive fate. She surrenders, and even that is not enough to give her peace.
Alex is the eternal defeat, but her greatness lies in this: in this tragic involutionary spiral.

It is always a pleasure to read you, and without a doubt I love this comment it is simply beautiful, thank you for taking the time to write something so beautiful full of melancolida, tragic but beautiful.
When I did this drawing, I did not take it into account in terms of "overseer", I never had it in my mind and ironically she sees Albert directly in his eyes and he does not see her ... It's as if she had lived all her life alone observing Albert, he saw it grow and the opaque as the great star it is. and she always behind.
What you mention about Albert who thought about the viruses saying that they change host according to their mental condition, the virus transforms their bodies into what they really are, I remember that question that asks itself "what is the matter with me" I imagine that Alex asked himself that same question or maybe not, she was already a monster-
And about the last thing you mention that she tried to give Al peace, I remember the letter of Pray de RE5, "the eternal dream is where you will find peace" is a beautiful song, whenever I hear it I can not get it out of my head , I love!
