Description
This is the start of a new series of drawings!! The goal is to draw every possible pair of the kacheek siblings in a way that summarizes their relationships with one another.I randomized a list of their names, and by sheer chance, Cici and Star turned up first! The classic duo! I was really excited to portray their new relationship, which is much different from their old, stereotypical "sibling rivalry" relationship.
Star, insensitive to the severity of her older brother's social anxiety, once bullied him for being so awkward and closed off. As she grew older, however, she realized the error of her ways and has since tried to make up with him. She wants to teach him how to be brave more than anything. Unfortunately, Cici is still habitually nervous around his sister because of their past history. He does, however, recognize her efforts, forgive her for her mistakes, and love her very much. I hope the pose captured this!

He's actually a fisherman, not a sailor! C: The sailor outfit is simply a costume, and he wears it because... I don't really know why, actually. It's just what he wears, ha ha.

He still has a fishing boat. I read about it in a Neotown RP thread so technically while he's probably not particularly good at it he is still sort of a sailor.

He's water. Also is he a good sailor. Because I'd like to know how he got that little boat above Maraqua. The only explanations I can think of are that he is either the best navigator in Neopia or that he got absolutely hopelessly lost. Maraqua is in the middle of open ocean.

Well it's not that hard to drive a boat out to sea, ha ha. Every fisherman can do it. But I suppose he is good at navigating in that sense. uUu

Yeah but driving a boat miles out into the middle of nowhere is a different story. According to the map of Neopia Maraqua is considerably far out to see.

I guess so. I never saw it as that far out. There's a huge island right next to it, which I presume is land that belongs to Meridell/Brightvale. I reckon he starts sailing from there, which honestly isn't too too far out.

Actually it is. It can be a bit misleading looking at a map on a screen but you do have to remember that Neopia is a planet. Even if it were a Dwarf planet that distance across would probably still be as long (if not longer) than it would to sail from Australia to New Zealand.

That's so inconvenient, though. It's better to simplify things for the sake of roleplay. Also it's hard to imagine any distance in Neopia is long when it's so easy to click from land to land. I don't really know what you're arguing anymore... ? That Cici is a good sailor? That my writing is poor? I'm baffled as to why you're continually trying to correct me.

Alright. Well, like I said, I'm really just trying to simplify things for convenience's sake (and continuity's sake, too, because I can't suddenly rewrite his entire character, which I've worked very hard on). That's all there really is to it.
