A sad picture of Cackletta and Fawful to counter the cuter art I've drawn of them in the past. I was wondering why I haven't seen any art of them together in these forms!I used pure solids on this. I think it was good lighting practice, but I still need to get better.
I just have some much love for these two. But I don't think they'll be coming back. (´; ω ;`)
EDIT: Made the background symmetrical.

Great idea and brilliant work! I love the coloring style here; it's definitely going in my faves.
I have to say I don't think Fawful's dead, though. Other Mario characters have come back from a lot worse, not to mention he's been in all three Mario and Luigi games. If they make another one, I have a feeling he'd be in it in some form. As for Cackletta... Yeah, I think she's gone.
