Here's a picture that is taken 26 years in the future!
On the top row (left to right): Betty Petrikov, Snowflake Petrikov (a few months old), Simon Petrikov, Marceline Abadeer, Mary Abadeer (15 years old)
On the bottom row (left to right): Lady Rainicorn, Jake, Queen Bonnibel Bubblegum, Prince Benjamin (Ben) Bubblegum (14 years old), Finn, Finn Jr. (15 years old), Flame Queen, Torch (a few months old), Flare (13 years old)
Prince Ben is the son of Queen Bubblegum. She created him using science, as an heir to the Candy Kingdom. He's super smart, loves science, and has a huge crush on Flare. (She has a crush on him too, but neither of them know how the other feels.)
Mary Abadeer is the daughter of Marceline. Marceline adopted her and turned her into a vampire (she was sick? Idk). Her mom has taught her how to play her bass guitar, and she's really good and loves to play it. She's adventurous, and loves going on adventures with her best friends Finn Jr., Flare, and Ben. (Ben sometimes goes with them, depending on how scary the adventure is.) Finn Jr. has a huge crush on her, but she is unaware.
Snowflake Petrikov is the daughter of Simon and Betty. After years of researching, Betty finally figures out how to bring Simon back without him dying. Bubblegum helps her out as well, and when he's brought back, they marry and later have Snowflake. Her pale skin and white hair streak is because of the crown's influence on her father. She loves cold weather, and lives in the Ice Kingdom with her parents. When she's older, she develops a crush on Torch, and he has a crush on her as well. However, they don't know about each other's crush.

He is half fire elemental half human. The gem is actually connected to his chest, and the neck-hole on his shirt fits underneath the gem (if that makes any sense).

Idk. I'm hoping soon. And then after her's, I'll get a story out for Torch.
Here's the basic idea that I have for it: Flare starts to show feelings for Prince Ben (and luckily, the feeling is mutual), which causes her dad to feel uncomfortable that his little girl is growing up. The typical story of a dad not wanting to see his daughter grow up.

A few thoughts:
Betty must be getting a bit old by now, compared to Simon who was in "suspended animation" for a thousand years while he was the Ice King.
Marceline chose to adopt? Makes sense, since she was sort of adopted herself.Β
Any thoughts on who is Ben's father?

Ben doesn't really have a father. Bubblegum created him using science, and to create him, she almost sorta cloned herself. I don't know how she exactly would go about creating him, but she did it somehow using science. No father. Hope that answered your question.

The explanation for how PB got a son also makes sense for her. I assume she learned from her mistakes after creating Lemongrab and Goliad
And it's beautiful to think that not just did Simon and Betty's love survive all that happened, but they were not too old to get a child afterwards!

Yeah, I would think that Bubblegum is smart enough to learn from her mistakes! Ben is probably one of her most successful experiments!
And Simon and Betty are probably one of the sweetest, most awesome couple in AT! They deserve to have a kid!

Just a crazy idea that just occured to me after all this time, and feel free to dismiss it , but could it be that PB created Ben from her own tissue? We've seen how she can lose or add tissue without becoming disfigured, only a little younger or older. So losing a little body mass to have a baby that is literally her own flesh and blood (or at least her own sugar and glucose

I actually thought that PB would take some of her own DNA (i.e. tissue, hair, whatever), and use that for Ben. You're spot on with your idea! I guess great minds think alike!
And yeah, I'm sure that it would be worth it to make a kid using your own tissue if you had to look just a few years younger.
