Description A gift for my lovely friend Carissa, aka *Cupcake-Kitty-chan  

She said she was looking for someone to draw her latest OC Mizu the mermaid, and I though it would be an excuse to draw my mermaid, Melrose, too I just love mermaid characters ♥ You have to be really inventive with colour and tail designs since there isn't much more you can change to make a mermaid unique. I think I'll try and draw more mermaids soon, since I got inspired by =luigipony 's beautiful ones  

So yes, I hope you like it Carissa, I think I may have butchered her a little bit though ;-; If you'd like just Mizu on her own note me and that can be arranged, if you wanted it for a reference or something you don't have to of course!

Seriously a late commenter... But I saw this in my favorites and I couldn't help but feel something special about this... The colors, the designs, every part of both girls feels unique to which no one else can reproduce... this is a wonderful gift for her. No doubt about it.
