Hi, everyone.I am very pleased and proud to introduce you to the latest member of the Converge Series: TDA Convergence Neru Append. ^_^
Sorry about her photo - she had that real cute pose and smile thing going on just like in Miku's and Luka's promo pics, and then her phone rang and she was all, "Hurry up and take the picture, dammit - I have to get this!" and then she just up and left! >_<
My guess is it had to be Len calling and asking her to meet him somewhere to share his favourite thing with her [A Banana Split at the Soda Parlour down the block, not a love hotel, you creepy hentais - get your minds out of the gutters - sheesh!] - she's usually very reliable, but when she even thinks about him it turns her head inside out and then all bets are off.

I have always had a soft spot for this adorable little tsundere trollette. She's petite, but has the attitude of a charging rhino (I actually had a GF like her once - gotta respect [and fear] a gal like that!). And, she's cute. So, I forgave her too. ^_^
ConNeru is the most in-depth and detailed edit I've ever done. I really wanted to do her proper justice with this edit.
Unlike the other models in the Converge Series that use a "standard uniform" scheme, some of the textures for Neru's Converge outfit were custom edited to better match her personal color palette, and all of the parts used on her were carefully resized to match her much smaller than average 150cm frame.
You see the thing is, I wanted her to be as accurate as I could make her whilst still staying within the boundaries of the Converge Edit Plan, because I really "cared" about this edit and getting her just right!
In fact, I cared so much that I even sent an unfinished pre-release copy of her to her "Papa" Smith-hioka for his opinion of her. He told me that he really liked her and that my version of her was "very cute". (!)
That was enough right there to inspire me to finish and share her! Because I really like this particular character and have the utmost respect and admiration for her creator, I just could not dishonor him by releasing an edit of his "daughter" that he did not approve of. If he had not liked her, she would have remained a private edit only shared with friends and never to be publicly released.

Trackdancer also performed all of Neru's Beta Testing and troubleshooting, as well as generously contributing her needed texture edits to the project.
This was not "technically" a collaboration, but I am not exaggerating in the least when I say that without his invaluable assistance with this project you would not be reading these words and be able to DL this lovely model.

General Information:
In addition to her appearance changes, a significant portion of this model's edit was done "under the hood', mainly on her frame and rigging. The MP2 frame has been modified for compatibility with TDA frames and installed for video production purposes along with complete 4-stage Arm IK chains and torso control bones for posing purposes.
It is very important to note here that due to the fact that they are intended primarily for posing, some motion datas will not work properly with the Arm IK chains. To remedy this issue, a patched "NoIK" version of her without the Arm IK chains installed is included in the package. If you intend to use her only for posing you don't really need it, but if you intend to make videos with her and are not experienced in editing and adjusting motion data on the fly I highly recommend using it.
The full range of semi-standard bones that the newer motions require have also been installed, as well as a lot of new expression sliders.
The model's Labels, Groups, and Tabs have all been fully translated into English for ease of use, and the Groups have been organized in detail to assist in finding desired bones to select for creating poses and motion data.
In order to prevent "package clutter" and enhance ease of use when editing, all secondary reference readmes, images, and textures have been sorted into their own separate folders.

ConNeru was actually the last planned member of the Converge series, but Gumi just loved their new outfits and begged me to make one for her as well, so she's next. I really didn't want to at first and it took a very long conversation to convince me, but the ending went something like this:
Gumi: "Pretty please, Oji-chan??"
Me: *sigh* ok...
Gumi: *squeeee!!*
Me: o_0
Come to think of it, she could have just done that in the beginning and saved herself a whole lot of tears, indignant foot-stomping, and "It's just not fair!"s...

i need her to be edited to play the role of Boss by adding some gear and well exposing her chest area with a huge scar.
i need permission cause you might think i'll used her on some perverted way but i need it to be modified for the sadess moment of her role.

If that's happening, the textures aren't being read for some reason. That's often caused by a corrupted DL, so trying it again might help.

A Converge MAYU, eh? hrmz...
Ok, here's the deal: It'll require me building a MAYU Append from scratch, but I'll see what I can do.
No promises, though.
You see, here's the thing:
It all depends on whether or not an Append base using a Piron head and hair set can technically be considered as being 'clearly recognizable' as being Tda-style. I've seen Tda MAYAs using Saboten's Win 100% head so I'm pretty sure that head swaps of that nature are ok, but legal usage of parts moves into a real grey area where Win 100% models are concerned due to their unique distribution and editing rules, which is why I'll be using Piron parts instead of Saboten parts if the edit is done at all.
I say if because I will never release an 'illegal' model, and if I can't make a legal MAYU Append using Piron parts she just won't be made at all. I'm sorry if that sounds discouraging, but rest assured that if she can legally be made I'll try my best.
*Edit - It's MAYU, not MAYA... I'm such a baka, lol...

She's adorable, I love her!
I've been busy playing around since I replied and came up with this: sta.sh/0zd9fn4c06v
She's massively edited to make the Tda face texture work with her. Both her UV meshing and the texture itself had to be altered - to give you an idea of just how extensive her face editing is, the texture no longer has eye sockets - in fact, her neck is now mapped where they used to be.
I'll check into her legality, but I'm pretty certain that editing her face as heavily as I did tipped the scales in favor of it, because she's clearly recognizable as being a Tda-Style model now at first glance.
It's the second glance where you go, "Wait, what?! THAT"S MAYU!!!" ^_^

The rigging problem was with her legs - she inherited the Append weighting scheme for them, and because their tops are different, the weighting didn't hold and her legs would separate from her torso when bending or doing high kicks, leaving a gap you could see inside of. Not good at all.
To repair this [IMO] very serious issue, I slaved them to the same bone as her torso [Lower Body], re-weighting their top row of vertices at 100%, the second row at 75%, and stopped there. The result can be seen here: fav.me/d8jzr4z .
I had a white night and couldn't sleep, so I spent the night messing around with the editor until I figured out how to do graduated weighting, and then fixed her the next morning.
Her side bangs were also pretty jittery, but changing their non-collision groups around sorted that - she's as smooth as still water when at rest. ^_^
