I love this photo.I never really say that, but I do.
This is an Egg Yolk Jellyfish. When they move in the water they look so elegant. I mean look at them!
Whenever I look at this I see a young girl in the middle of a ballet jump. When she lands she spins around and throws her arms in the air.
God...I love Jellies.

Sweet!! I love it! Its so beautiful!! I see what you mean about the "young girl in the middle of a ballet jump" the ruffled appearance beneath creating an almost tutu look alike. Just stunning!

I actually thought that this was a dancer when I saw this at first. I'm in ballet, and I can't wait until I can do this move. Someday I will. Anyways! This is great! Nice shot@@@@

This is gorgeous! I agree, it does look like a young ballerina mid-leap. I've never heard of an egg yolk jellyfish, but I'm glad I have now! Monterey must be a great place to hang around with a camera. I'd never considered taking one to Boston Aquarium... but then, I'm no master photographer either.
