Description
Final project for one of my classes~We had to pick a character from an animated film/show, choose eight stills from the film/show, draw a literal interpretation based on each still, and then reinterpret the pose/mood/etc in a second drawing for each still. I chose Shifu from Kung Fu Panda.
My basic idea was to illustrate Shifu's opinion of Po as it changes throughout the movie, from contempt and frustration to finally respect. (The Chinese characters in the last drawing read "respect.")
First column: the actual stills from the movie
Second column (literal interpretation): pen, Copic markers, and watercolor backgrounds
Third column (my reinterpretation): pen, watercolor pencil, and watercolor backgrounds.

Out of your literal versions, I like the second one the best, it's rather amusing to me.
For the reinterpretations, I like the little side comment with "You're a panda too." It's true, even if not everyone realizes it. Surprisinly, a lot of people have mistaken him for a raccoon, a squirrel, a mouse, and even a chinchilla. o.o When I first watched the movie, I thought he was a fennec fox because of his light markings and large ears, and the fact that they can live in Asian deserts...
But he's a Red Panda though, and I'm not arguing.
I also like you reinterpretation of the last still. I think you did a really good job with it. I'm not sure how to explain it, but you made him look very...the word is evading me...honorable? 
However, out of all them, I believe I like the reinterpretation at the peach tree best when he's sitting down with his paws on his tail. It's so cute, and he looks so fluffy and adorable, and-and, >W< I want him~!
To put it simply, you did a wonderful job on this, so it better have the A+ it deserves.

yeah he doesn't look as much like his animal as the other characters do. i've heard other people say fox, aye aye, marmoset, etc...but i think he looks most like my dog heehee [link]

When I first watched the movie, I didn't pay much attention to it. All I remembered was Oogway's departure, and Tai Lung biting his tail.
Then, a year later, I watched it again, and couldn't get away from it, with Shifu becoming my favorite. I was extremely defensive of him, and got really mad if people made fun of him.
Though lately, I have been more open to teasing him. 
I just LOVE Kung Fu Panda.
I just wish I could save the poor shore from Nickelodeon. They've butchered everyone!

Depends on who writes which episode. DreamWorks isn't doing the show, Nickelodeon is. {Yet DreamWorks is doing the "How to Train Your Dragon" show, which really bugs me. Why not do Kung Fu Panda as well?} Most of them are good, and funny. Like "Fluttering Finger Mindslip", Po went through ALL of this trouble, where if he had just been patient, and read the whole thing, he would have saved him self SO much pain...
{Actually if he had read the whole thing, there wouldn't have been a problem.}
That one actually had a good lesson to be learned. "Owl'll be Back" is another.
I'll warn you of the stupid ones right now. You can watch them at your own risk. "Good Croc, Bad Croc", "Hometown Hero", and "Rhino's Revenge" and of course... "My Favorite Yao".
Good Croc, Bad Croc: -.- Po is so hopelessly gulliable in that one episode, and then...GRAH! Shifu! When the guards came for Po to arrest him and take him away, Shifu just said he had to face the trails.
In my opinion, Shifu should have at LEAST listen to HIS student's side of the story... ;_; I was expecting him even more to stand up for Po and fight off the guards.
Hometown Hero REALLY BUGGED me...no pun intended on poor Mantis. When I was an early writer, I was horrid with the honor thing...and I liked picking on Mantis a lot. Yet, if you think about it, Mantis has grown up with Kung Fu, he's an HONORABLE warrior. That's his way.
So, someone tell me, WHY would he LIE, that he was the DRAGON WARRIOR? He's a Kung Fu warrior, they're not supposed to lie, and then, I thought everyone by that time would know that the Dragon Warrior was a panda. o.o
Rhino's Revenge isn't THAT bad, I just can't believe that even Po would slip off and reveal the weaknesses of himself and his friends. {Though his heart was in the right place.}
"My Favorite Yao" was the one that got to me the most. It was a Shifu episode! Which to me, was like, FINALLY! Nickelodeon blew it. Master Yao turns out to be the Kung Fu master Shifu looks up to the most. {I thought that would be Oogway.}
The thing is, Master Yao is visiting the palace, and etc, etc, he's always in this box to think, don't open the box, etc, etc.
Shifu...acts like a little kid a bit. He has all of this energy... {Seriously he was jumping up and down a bit there} Shifu...has a collection of things related to Yao...
And geez, that one line Shifu said, shall always make me shiver. ...and it could have been taken the wrong way to...
Now Rule #1 with me: Okay, so it's POSSIBLE that Shifu looks up to Master Yao, that I can believe. Though, Oogway probably has first place.
However, I don't care HOW much Shifu looks up to him, he would keep all of that bottled inside of him like he does all the time. If he HAS to vent it, then he can do it when he's alone... {Not to mention he could have closed the door to his room at one point there to avoid that one scene...}
Shifu has his dignity, honor, and pride. He holds those well. He wouldn't drop them because of...well...that.
Rule #2: Shifu...would never have opened the box. '-.- If anyone out of anyone had to go do that, it would have been Po.
And Shifu........danced?
I'm sorry, but they butchered him way too much in that episode. It had it's moments where I laughed, but really...that was sad. My favorite part, was what they said...which I have in my signature.
Those were the worst. However, the majority of them are good. 
The only concern is that Shifu and the Furious Five are defeated...a lot, and Po is sometimes overpowered with abilities of his. Like he was able to learn the seven impossible moves, and he did one without even knowing it existed. Though you never see him doing it again...
Many personalities get butchered, and what I hate, is that if someone is going to betray the warriors, you're more likely to know beforehand, which I hate. I want to be surprised.
And NICKELODEON did Shifu's back story!
Well, compared to the back story I made for him, it was pretty lame. The episode was still okay, and had it's moments. But seriously, no offense to Shifu, but he's an elder panda. You can tell he isn't the youngest warrior around anymore...
So how the blazes is his father still alive!? O.o

Sorry if I ranted there.
But someone needs to rip the show out of Nickelodeon's hands. In fact, I think I'll start writing scripts and send them in hopes of saving everybody.
The show is great...but at the rate it's going, it will die.
But seriously, watch it, they do have some good ones, I just believe they could do better.

I think the main thing is that people forget that Po knows everything there is to know about Kung Fu...yet he didn't know about Master Yao. Po's silly, a bit clumsy...
But he's not stupid.
