Collision Course is an illustration for this Scrawl Brawl, which is a 100-word battle to the death story. Check it out. scrawlbrawl.wordpress.com/2016…

Hey I dont know how the backgrounds are in Bryce but, if you can use your own images I can put some pics of star fields I have and you can use them.

I would need photoshop, which I don't have.

Perhaps someday I'll be able to do it, but for now I'm content to stick with what I've got.

Do they have to be a certain format? I have photoshop and if they need to be a certain format I could probably export them in it.

If I were to put it up here then all you'd have to do is right click on them as select save as.

Um, I noticed that Bryce allows the use of jpegs for custom starfields. B6 also allows for the use of High Definition R-(something) Images for backgrounds. Dunno if that helps any, but... *shrug*

D'oh. I was apparently lying about the use of jpegs for custom backgrounds within Bryce... sorry. HDRI for Bryce 6 also apparently has a unique file format (.hdr), but it might be capable of the neato stars.

Also... have you tried reducing star intensity in the Sky Lab? Reduced intensity makes the stars smaller and less.... Bryce-ey. (Though maxing out star number also helps make it seem more realistic).

HDRI yeah I can't up load that here, but there is a tool where it will let you open up a jpeg or bitmap and save it as an hdri file. Just search for HDR shop on google and you'll be able to find it. Only version 1 is available for download though unless you wish to purchase V2.

Yeah, Bryce stars suck unless they're being drowned out by a sun. In which case they look accurate, for some reason.

Still, nifty.

Thanks.

They also look good if you render a small image.
But where's the fun in that!?

Cool scene. The stars are a little too big a fluffy/bright though. Or.. are you using Bryce? Still really cool.

Yeah... Bryce.

I was reluctant to make it big because of how dumb the stars look.
Bah!

I'd take them out... but then it would probably look even more weird.
