The name says it all, really. This ship is designed to quickly punch its way through a hostile zone and blast out. Four high-powered cannons located on the prow, fairly light small craft protection: two cannon emplacements covering each quandrant. The H64-Class relies on the weight of its initial salvo to clear a path so that it can make use of its high capacity engines.
Primarily suited for extraction of high priority individuals from a compromised zone of operations.
Oh yeah, this is another ship that I had been working on for a while and had in the wings before I finally dusted it off and finished it. Trivia I guess.

Nice job, although it doesn't look to me like it would have an easy time landing and taking off in a fast and extraction like manner. It still looks great though.

Well yeah. It doesn't come into play so much with getting the VIP into the air as it does getting them out of a blockaded system.

Sorry, didn't mean to "point out the flaws in your logic" just give a constructive observation. Although given that it is Sci-fi there are ways your ship could "quickly" land and take off in atmosphere but the ship would have to use an unconventional drive system, like some kind inertia canceling/dampening field. And as I dont know any of the technical details on your ships I shouldn't have assumed anything. Still its a great looking ship.

Nah, no worries. I like for people to toss in their two cents. Truth is, I haven't actually designed any landing systems for any of my ships, let alone given much thought to the matter (if any). It is good to get a fresh take on things.

Maybe they don't need landing gear? Atmospheric capability is a huge strain on the ships frame, and adds extra mass. If it was produced and manufactured in orbit/space, and as most of your ships are geared to combating other ships in the vacuum of space, surely there wouldn't be any need for it to land? Especially if you had orbital elevators.
I suppose the missing slot in your ships then is some sort of assault transport for ground operations and support!
