When the Thatch siblings are at Whitmore's home, discussing about Milo going to Atlantis, Jessica refuse to let his brother go there. All she thought were just stories, legends, myths and she doesn't want to lose the only family member she has left. But Milo has to go. He thought he'll bring treasure which it'll be enough to save their home cause it's about to get evicted. So Jessica has no other choice but to let him go to Atlantis while Mr. Whitmore let Jessica stay at his home for company.
