Description
EDIT: Sniper will remain as a non Bender! This was just a random head cannon that I made. (cause of my damn OTP feels) madjesters1.deviantart.com/art… From that head cannon it grew from other peoples ideas that I could not simply ignore and I wanted to explore it for a bit. :3----
Sniper is in denial...
Originally it would make sense for him to be an airbender but then if were to follow the storyline and plot of Avatar the Last airbender and The Legend of Korra, then perhaps he could be a rare bloodbender. :]
Though time will tell if Sniper is willing to be one, or just stay as a non bender. But Medic (secretly one) and Spy(ALSO) will push his boundaries along the journey to stop Grey. :]
Also...THIS IS THE BEST COLOR COMIC I'VE DONE SO FAR! LOOK AT THE COLORS AND BKG!!!
This comic and dialogue is based off of 's fic bubble-soap.deviantart.com/art…
Thank you so much for writing it, even if it was pretty short and fast it was still enjoyable!
Enjoy. :]

if sniper was a bloodbender then the entire support group would be bloodbending and that would be terrifying
i hope it comes to that point

Have you ever heard of the fanfic Embers? It does an amazing job dissecting the Avatar universe, all forms of bending, and it really is a fascinating read. It's one of those stories that most people love or hate, but honestly she's such an amazing writer that regardless of your viewpoint, you can't put it down until it's done.

It's a monster of a story (750,000+ words...) but it's truly a good read. It takes the world into depth, and goes above and beyond the call of duty in telling a fine story in the avatar's world. It's an AU and should be treated like one, but it's a damn good one.
Enjoy. www.fanfiction.net/s/5398503/1…

Maybe he could have some sort of weak bloodbending from his mother. Like how when his emotions are really up or when he's about to shoot in tense or pivotal situations, his enemies lock up, allowing him to go for the kill. Same principle as a tiger's roar. Can't hear it but it stops you dead and you know you're about to die. Kinda like killer instinct.

Maybe, but for now Sniper will stay as a non-bender. Medic is too much to handle at the moment. Ones enough.
But I have this story idea about Gray. Like what if he found out how to energy bend and one point he tamper the non-benders (demo, sniper, spy) energy and gave them bending abilities. Sniper would be water and he would be so excited to figure how to bend it. He is terrible at it. XD
Here were some of my ramblings. Link and Link

I always thought that blood bending had the potential to be really useful. If you use it on your self you can move regardless of any injuries. You could also use it to help prevent bleeding out on yourself or an ally.

Though Sniper will most likely not be a blood bender since this cannon and comic was a one time thing for my OTP, i can't help but say, that with this new information it is
PREFECT FOR MEDIC!!!!!

water bender who can bend blood and control another person's body and can kill them if evil enough.

Not only can a Bloodbender move someone else's body around like a puppet, he/she can draw out all water from living things (plants, animals, humans) and thus kill them instantly. But it's a very rare, advanced waterbending technique and usually only able to pull off when the full moon enhances a Waterbender's powers. Only one Bloodbender ever managed to pull it off at any time (in A:LoK).

Instantly freeze-drying is even more horrific if you realize that Bloodbenders can do it FROM A DISTANCE as long as they can see you, and can even do it in a radius around them (like letting all plants around them shrivel and die instantly). That's really a weapon if mass destruction, and since it's not a direct physical attack with an element I'm not sure other benders can even easily counter it, like they could do with someone firing a stream of fire or pebbles at their face.
As for the Puppet-Master power of Bloodbenders: Even Aang and Korra as Avatars fell victim to that in A:LoK. Because once your body is under someone else's control you have a hard time performing the movements you need for most bending techniques. Heck, the Bloodbender could just stop your body from breathing and watch you suffocate. Or move all your blood into your lung tissue and watch you drown internally.

Oh yeah, Bloodbending is not a technique that is taught, because even if you don't abuse it it's pretty much creepy and evil in its implications.
Plantbending (like the Waterbenders from the swamp did in A:TLA) to move vegetation around is in all likelihood a lesser, less horrific version of this sub-category of waterbending. After all, normally plants don't have minds that can be traumatized, and if you rip off a leaf the plant will just grow another one.

A TF2/A:TLA crossover is just such a ... perfect idea. I love it. I love how it takes the characters and their personality, and transplants them into the A:TLA world, giving them a new background, but still somehow keeping them recognizably themselves.

Personally, I don't think everyone needs to be a Bender. There were plenty of non-Benders in A:TLAB who rocked.
And the world includes enough Steam technology and martial arts that Sniper could be an awesome archer, Demoknight a swordman with knowledge of black powder, and Spy an assassin with the ability to block chi flow (and thus temporarily take away someone's bending ability). All abilities we've seen in the series.

Jajaja, I really like that fanfinc xD
Mmm... if you think about it, this comic is based in ATLA story, based in the characters of tf2, that together were the base for 's designs, that inspired you to draw, that inspired to write a fic and then (me being redundant here ) you based this comic in it.... Inception?

Me too! It was so interesting seeing how the story of this can be played out in certain scenes.
PLus being the first and only fanfic about this crossover makes it so rare!
