Well Sheppard can survive. Provided high enough war-score and provide he sacrifice EDI and the Geth (if they were not destroyed before), by chosing destroy the Reapers she could live. However every time I play that, I could not force myself to chose that option. Even when I played Renegade, there was still EDI and the Geth out there.... Damn that ending, really.

Yea, Shepard surviving is my headcanon ending, though my first play-through I went control for the same reason, I was about to go destroy then thought of EDI and Joker (Didn't have the Geth because Legion died in my first suicide mission)

I do feel that Shepard could have survived, if only because I want that happy ending for Shepard and Garrus dammit! (I mean look what happened when Shepard died once, the second time would destroy him.)
This idea however has been floating around for a while, I just finally managed to draw it.
