This is the group's mission statement from the page:

"THE ARENA is a support group about bringing different creators and their original characters together while generating interest for all of them and for the amazing artwork of Gilbert Monsanto!

Commissioning Gilbert to draw a creator’s character (currently at $10 per character) puts that character into a voting poll. Of those characters in a poll (usually 10), the two characters receiving the highest number of group member votes at a set deadline win an additional piece of artwork from Gilbert featuring the two winning characters facing off. The polls have a voting and promotional aspect giving entrants the freedom to pull in friends, family, and other interested parties, but they must be members of the group to vote and no dummy accounts may be used to inflate votes. This will be spot-checked!


Gilbert Monsanto’s host character for THE ARENA is HighLight. You never know when he may show up!


Characters are loosely categorized into the following ARENA battles and may have some overlap:


· BATTLEBOXED for traditional superheroes from all walks across the globe


· SPEEDFRONT for the fastest super speedsters


· CATFIGHT for formidable female characters


· ARMOR RIGHTS for characters incorporating armor into their arsenal


· ALLEYS BRAWLERS BALL for grittier characters who patrol the back alleys and urban shadows


· WORLD MASTERS for deadly villains and bold baddies


More categories are being formed all the time!!


Other ARENA battles:


· FIGHT DEN for two or more creators who arrange to separately commission Gilbert render their characters facing off


· TEAM vs TEAM EPIC GATECRASHERS BALL for 5-member teams who commission Gilbert (currently at $40 per 5-member team). Additional team members can be arranged for a reasonable fee.
