I'm the mark left on your skin that you feel insecure about. So you hide me, cover me up.

I'm the faulty Christmas light you can't fix. Afraid to have a flaw in the tree, you simply put something over me. Or you turn the tree around so no one will notice me.

I am also the flaw that contributed to the entirety of the masterpiece.

I am also the small flawed detail on your beautiful body that someone will grow to love.

I am also the flawed light that shows you a different side of the tree once you pretend I'm not there.

Alas..... you are just like me.
We are Human
But SO much more.
Flawed, but perfectly unique.
Fearful, but ironically brave.
We are all the above
And that is something we applaud.
